Together & Alone
An Official Brooklyn Book Festival Bookend Event

Normal service has been on hold for Liars' League NYC since the start of the pandemic - so we're delighted to return for the 2021 Brooklyn Book Festival with a selection of stories from our archive that reflect all of our experiences in the time we’ve been away - anxiety, isolation, and grief on the one hand; resourcefulness, community, and resilience on the other. You can register in advance now via Zoom - here’s what we have in store:

Emperor of One
by J.T. Townley
read by Rudi Utter

The Guide to being a Dictator's Mistress
by Cedrick Mendoza-Tolentino
read by Kristen Calgaro

Refrigerator Children
by Devon Price
read by Jeff Wills

Things to Consider While Locked in the Back of a U-Haul
by Dani Rado
read by Hannah Seusy

Dear Kesha
by Anthony Tognazzini
read by Elizabeth Alice Murray

We’ll be getting started at 7pm, entry as ever, is completely free - and you’ll be able to see the recordings from the night right here on the site afterwards. We’re excited to be back - and hope to see you all online, if not in person, soon!!
