It's almost the weekend, but here at the Liars' League NYC headquarters we're still hard at work - just so we can bring you the exciting lineup for next month's Overworked & Underpaid Show! And we're not even getting overtime.
We have four stories for you this month, featuring struggling actors, unappreciated undertakers, blameless bounty hunters and troubled beachcombers - all noble professions in their own right, all part of the 99%, and luckily for us, all with fantastic tales to tell.
Here's what's on the November payroll:
THE SKIP CHASER'S STORY by Kurt Tidmore
THE DEATH INSPECTOR GENERAL'S REPORT by Irene Zabytko
DRIFT by Rob Ganley
WRONG NUMBER by Terese Pampellonne
Congratulations to our authors, and thanks to everyone who overworked and underpaid themselves to submit this month - we only wish we had more time to feature more stories each night. And on the subject of which, we'll be on stage at KGB on Wednesday, 7th November at 7pm - make sure you get there early if you want a seat!
And in other news...
- Our next deadline is just under two weeks away! The theme is Naughty & Nice - send your stories to us at liarsleaguenyc@gmail.com by Wednesday 31st October. Full details on our submissions page.
- Denis Woychuk's new musical drama, Isaac Babel and the Gangster King - it's Fiddler on the Roof meets The Godfather - will be performed at The Kraine Theater from November 1-25th - tickets and more details over at the HorseTrade website
Right, that's it from us - see you soon! Now get back to work.
